Thirty One Blue is very dear to my heart and something I feel very passionate about. I am a Psychology Major from the University of Michigan - (GO BLUE!) Several years ago I struggled with my own depression after a major life event change and shortly after the announcement that my mother was diagnosed with terminal cancer.

After I lost my mother just 12 months after her initial diagnose, I was completely devastated and honestly I wasn't sure how to carry on without her. I am a mother of two children and I just knew that I had to pull it together for them.

It was at that point that I realized I had to take this experience and make it positive, so I decided to help others in their journey by offering hope and strength in knowing others are dealing with similar feelings of hopelessness. Just know that your story isn't over, we have so much more to do on this earth and we have to keep swimming!

I often am asked where the name Thirty One Blue originated and the answer is simple! I love the beach and Lake Michigan is my therapy. It is the one place on this earth where I can go and just..... Be. When times get tough, that's where I go to reflect on life and bring it all back into perspective. Highway Thirty One is the road that runs up the West Coast of Michigan. Along Lake Michigan and her sandy beaches. With that said we feature beach and inspirational jewelry with a portion of all sales going to The National Suicide Awareness Organization.

We have been in business since 2014, selling on both on our eCommerce store and also at local fairs and festivals. Everything you see in our store was put together in our small home studio with love and care!
